Pace boats were a Taiwan built version of the Egg Harbor 36, 40 and 48 using actual Egg Harbor molds. They were built from [removed phone]. The knock on the Pace was that sometimes their craftsmanship was suspect. These kinks in manufacturing were eventually ironed out.
They did after all have to live up to an association with Egg Harbor, one of the best-built boats in the world.
From her waxed hull to her shiny Stainless and oiled Teak, this Egg is in very good condition for her age (about 2000 BOAT hours).
Not only is she very well-kept inside and out (cosmetically), her 2010 Crusaders only have 200 hours. The mid-ship engine room is clean and very easily accessed, for which Egg Harbor is well-known. There is space in the engine room for a generator.
Her hull shows no signs of damage whatsoever, less than normal wear and tear for her age. She could go at least one more season on the current bottom paint.
The teak is smooth and well-oiled.
The Stainless is shiny and rust free.
The cabin and berths are free of odors and their cushions have no tears.
The bathroom is clean and fully functional with a separate stand-up shower stall.
She's very impressive in the spacious, comfortable cabin, which is very clean and well-appointed. Take note of the excellent condition of the curtains reflective of the fact there is no seepage in the cabin walls that some Eggs develop. Also, please note the custom swordfish painted on the cabin door. These are just two elements of the owners pride in owning one of the best-molded boats in the world.
