MEET THE MONSTER!!! This watercraft was specifically built by the Riva Yamaha Race Dept. in Pompano Beach, FL for the specific purpose of breaking the personal watercraft world speed record. This goal was accomplished on July 2002 in Savannah, GA at an APBA sanctioned event and the record was accepted by the Guinness Book of World Records. The craft has achieved speeds in excess of 87.5 mph as documented by Watercraft World Magazine, Jan 2002 issue. Starting with a new 2001 Yamaha GP1200R, the unit was stripped down and built from the ground up with latest racing and speed components by Riva Yamaha Factory Racing's head tuner the legendary Tim Judge. The 1400cc/270 HP engine package features; factory pipes triple exhaust system, Novi 48mm racing carbs, and a MSD total loss ignition; just to name a few of the parts. A tremendous weight savings was achieved by replacing all hardware with titanium fasteners and utilitizing carbon fiber hood and seat assembly There is over $60K invested in this machine, I am looking at trading for anything of $30K value, ie. truck, sports car, classic car, property, etc!
