The Hunter 29.5 has a very open floor plan due to its lack of full structural bulkheads. This allows for a very open and bright interior. Forward is an easily accessed v-berth with a privacy curtain, two overhead lights and a fan. Immediately aft is the salon with u-shaped seating and a drop down table. This converts into a very comfortable sleeping berth when the additional cushions are inserted. Storage is supplied under the salon cushions. Aft to starboard is a full head with marine toilet and shower. There is also storage for toiletries and linens. Across to port is a full galley with a molded sink, two burner alcohol stove, pressure water, electric fan, ceiling lights and ample storage for food and galley equipment. Inboard between the head and the galley is the engine room with access from all four sides. Under the cockpit sole is a huge berth with ventilation port, two lights and a fan. There are six opening ports in the cabin sides and one opening deck hatch above the v-berth. There are three additional port lights to make this vessel bright and airy. Headroom is 6.
