Vessel Walkthrough 1
The interior of the Island Packet 38 features a unique tri-cabin layout with large forward and aft staterooms and a spacious central salon. Beginning forward is an anchor locker in the bow accessed through the forward head. The forward head compartment has a sink with vanity shower with wrap-around curtain marine toilet plenty of storage two opening ports and an opening hatch. Next aft is the spacious master stateroom with large double berth to starboard and hanging locker and cabinets to port. There are four large drawers under the berth. This stateroom is well ventilated with four opening ports and an overhead hatch. Next aft is the roomy main salon with Island Packet's signature bulkhead mounted fold-up dining table. To starboard is an L-shaped settee that converts to a double berth and also provides seating for the aft-facing navigation station. To port is a straight settee. There is an incredible amount of storage beneath and behind both settees. The aft facing navigation station is quickly accessible from the cockpit and allows easy communication with the helmsperson. Across from the navigation station is the aft head with sink vanity shower with wrap-around curtain and marine toilet. This head has a private entrance from the aft cabin as well as the salon. To starboard of the companionway is the large U-shaped galley with deep double sinks 3-burner LPG stove with oven refrigerator/freezer deluxe teak dish racks and cutlery drawers. To port of the companionway is the entrance to the spacious aft stateroom with wide double berth dressing seat bureau and cedar-lined hanging locker two opening ports and opening hatch.
Main Salon
The Main salon is spacious open and airy with a pull-out double L-shaped settee berth to starboard single settee berth to port teak cabinets and book shelves outboard of both settees. Large stowage areas are provided behind and under each settee. Cedar lined hanging locker with shelf over. The deluxe drop leaf table folds against the forward bulkhead and offers rack and bottle stowage. This area is finished with a 4' wide teak and holly sole and has a large overhead hatch numerous opening ports deck vents and overhead handrails. Forward you find the Master stateroom that virtually uses the full beam of the yacht to create an exceptionally open roomy layout. This area has privacy doors to salon and forward head compartment. Large double berth with full length teak shelf outboard large stowage lockers under nightstand and four cedar lined drawers. Generous cedar lined hanging locker with shelf over plus bureau with shelf over. Three opening ports overhead hatch deck vents and a varnished teak and holly sole. Guest Stateroom / Head
The spacious guest stateroom is located to port of the companionway and has a wide double berth dressing seat bureau and cedar-lined hanging locker two opening ports and opening hatch. The aft head compartment is centrally located by the companionway convenient to the cockpit salon and aft cabin. Two head doors are provided allowing private access from either aft stateroom or main salon. The head is fitted with hot and cold pressure water full fiberglass draining shower pan with auto sump pump large vanities and cabinets and a curtained shower area with a teak seat.
Deck
Topsides features large unobstructed deck and cabin top surfaces. Safe and secure deck work is ensured with raised bulwarks premium course diamond nonskid full length cabin top handrails welded double bow and stern rails and double lifelines. The deck is trimmed with a wide teak cap rail and a stainless steel striker all around with teak cockpit coamings and detail trim. All nonskid surfaces are molded in contrasting tan.
