FINALLY A PARKER 25 YOU CAN AFFORD!
The 25 Parker is a go to boat for serious anglers in Long Island Sound. Strong and rugged without the fluff and frills of the usual sport boat, Parkers are quality built in Beaufort, NC.
Linwood Parker says, We are a family-owned business that builds boats for people who seek maximum value without spending a fortune. Boats that not only perform dependably but without constant maintenance and attention so you are able to put your priorities first...family, friends, fishing and fun. Boats that are overbuilt and quality-made is what we are known for and continue to emphasize. At Parker, "overbuilt" is an understatement. Parker Marine has been building quality boats since the late 1960s. However, it has never been our intention to become an industry giant, but rather to build boats for that portion of the market which can recognize the important qualities in boats dictated by common sense and time-tested design features. This straightforward approach, combined with an uncompromising dedication to the highest quality construction practices, has earned the entire Parker line the reputation of simplicity, strength, and seaworthiness. Parker boats are proudly serving in commercial, governmental agency, recreational and high-tech sport fishing use around the world
This 25 Parker Pilot House spent two years as an independent tow boat operator out of Milford Ct. She is set up with the tow boat gear including aluminum tow bit and a reel with two 300 ft tow hawsers and bridles, plus emergency lights. If desired, this tow equipment can be easily removed with eight bolts.
The wide-open cockpit still remains the most fish friendly cockpit on the market today. The renowned Parker quality is apparent in this hull. The twin, counter-rotating Mercury ELPTO 2 stroke outboards are running strong and well with an estimated 1000 hours. The hull and decks are sound, and the cuddy cabin with hard back provides excellent shelter when the weather deteriorates.
Presently this boat sits on a 2007 dual axle Venture trailer with surge brakes. Save a bundle on summer and winter storage by trailering this boat.
This is a well tested quality seaworthy rig at an affordable price. Needs a bit of TLC, but well worth the effort.
