Features and OptionsOVERVIEW:
Chris Craft hit a home run with the introduction of the 380 Continental. The production run was 5years ([removed phone]) and this sleek & stylish express cruiser is still turning heads at the most upscale marinas. The forward thinking floorplan and design incorporated features that were years ahead of the competition. Creature comforts and luxurious entertaining were clearly design priorities of the 380. If you are in the market for an express cruiser with beautiful lines, room for a small army, and tons of user-friendly features, OUR CHOICE III is the complete package.
VESSEL WALK-THROUGH:
Boarding from vessel aft, cockpit egress is a breeze through the center double door in the impressive rounded transom. Divers and swimmers will appreciate the extra wide swim platform with retractable swim ladder, hot/cold transom shower and two large storage lockers. Molded steps (port & stbd.) in the swim platform make access to the side decks safe and easy. Enter the large circular cockpit and it's apparent why this is the focal point of any gathering. Cockpit features include a wet bar, ice maker and two facing semi circular lounges (each w/removable table) that seat 10. Move forward and step up to a raised centerline helm that offers the captain excellent 360 degree visibility. Even with the top in place, there is an abundance of headroom for the captain (or 1st mate) to flip up the double seat bolsters and stand while underway. A companion lounge, to port of the helm, allows guests to enjoy the captain's view. Sun lovers will appreciate safe access through a center walk thru windshield, to lounge on the large bow sun pad, or to sit comfortably (and safely) at the recessed forward bow. Anchor handling is also safer with the aid of a bow port in the recessed bow. Cabin entry is through double doors, just starboard of the center helm. Below deck, family and guests can move about effortlessly (unobstructed by bulkheads), in the expansive wide open salon/galley. As you enter the cabin, there is a full length cedar lined hanging locker to starboard. Just forward (to starboard) of the two companionway steps, is a settee, two overhead cabinets, the electrical panel and the entertainment center. Directly across from the settee, in the aft port corner, is a U-shaped lounge/dinette that converts into a double berth, a 2nd cedar lined hanging locker and four overhead cabinets. The mid-cabin galley is just forward, to port, of the convertible dinette. The fully equipped galley boasts generous counter space, three overhead cabinets and four under cabinet drawers. Directly across, to starboard, from the galley is the spacious enclosed head, with vanity, sink, shower and Vacuflush toilet. The head has dual access, from the salon and the bow stateroom. The bow (master) stateroom has an angled double berth with comfortable innerspring mattress. The stateroom has a single settee and a cedar lined hanging locker to port, three under-berth storage drawers and a storage/entertainment locker to starboard. Both sleeping quarters have retractable floor-to-ceiling privacy curtains. The cabin soul has been upgraded with beautiful hardwood. Cabin lighting is enhanced by natural light from six (3 port, 3 stbd) oval port hatches and three large opaque deck hatches. A complete cockpit canvas enclosure and dual station cabin marine heat/AC allow comfortable extended season boating.
