This is a very sweet little cruiser, perfect for weekend sailing or a trip to the islands. It has a partial fixed keel and a centerboard (swing keel) that's lowered when sailing. San Juan sailboats were made here in Washington. There is an excellent website that has history, specs, and tech tips for how to repair or upgrade any part of the boat, (google SJ23 INDEX or go to www3.telus.net/sail/sj23/index.html). The hull is bright yellow with painter-tape blue bottom paint (see pic, the bottom is the color of the blue boom cover).. She's in good shape but has been parked (inside or covered) so needs a good cleaning. waxing and some cosmetic touch ups. She needs a depth sounder but everything else is included. She comes with:trailer with new wiring and submersible LED lights4 sails including the main, genoa, working jib, and a mule in bagsextra lines, fenders, life jackets, 2 swim ladders, anchor with plenty of line, lots of redundant gear, tool boxporta-potti, sink with tank, fold down table, a little more than 5 feet of head room in the cabinforward berth sleeps 2 comfortably and 2 more could sleep on the benches but they're not very wide2 rudders (one solid, one with a swing up bottom), auto-pilot/remote, 8 hp Nissan outboard with very few hours on it, gas tankI have sailed her by myself many times and she is easy to single hand, or take a couple friends and enjoy the warm weather out on the water. She is responsive and forgiving on the water and a great learning/teaching boat. No camera so the pic is of a different boat exactly like it. Happy to text pics on request.
