The boat will do about 30 mph with just one person, but the kids are getting too big to pull on a tube anymore to go fast enough for them. I have it set up for fishing walleyes on the Saginaw Bay. The trolling plate allowed me to go slow enough to do so. It has been a great boat, but haven't used it that much the last couple of years. Previous owner never trolled, just used it to drift fish, or anchored. The boat is in pretty good shape for a 1987. The motor has run great. Just started it up yesterday and it fired right up. Only reason we are selling is that we want a faster more family friendly pleasure boat to ski/tube with. *Father in law bought a new boat to go on the bay with. Boat is very light and trailers easy.
