The current owner purchased this 1999 Bayliner Ciera in April of 2012. Like any older boat she needed a lot of work and a fair amount of cash to get her in shape. Owner went through all of the major system on this boat with the assistance of Master Marine Mechanic Herb Bloom of Quality Mobile Marine. (He can vouch for her mechanical soundness). The boat is in great mechanical shape. She cruises easily at 20 knots and will achieve a max speed of 25 in good conditions. The boats come with an older trailer, which has had all the key components replaced. The boat is equipped for an overnight on the hook or at a marina.
The boat was in dry storage for all of 2012. She was briefly in a slip on the St. John and in the Crystal River on the gulf. She has been used mostly in fresh water and when in the salt the cooling system has been flushed after each use.
