- Stock #[removed phone] - Only 40 Hours on this Single Owner Day Cruiser. Freshwater only, Bulletproof 502 BBC.This Gorgeous 1977 Shiada 22' Day Cruiser is a Single Owner Boat. Originally built for the Long Beach to Catalina ski race, this boat never actually made the race due to the skier pulling out of the race. So, she never actually made it into the saltwater. She's been in the freshwater of California and Arizona.Built for Racing, but has never been raced. In 2002 the owner removed the stock 454 and had the Big Block Chevy built for her by Lew Larson Racing. She was built to be bulletproof with upgraded Rods, Valves, etc. She sports aluminum head, a 750 cfm Holley carb, a turbo 400 transmission, has been maintained constantly and only has about 40 hours on her. She's been clocked at 75 mph, only used about 4 times since 2007 and hasn't been on the water in about 3 years. She's stored with no fuel in the tank or engine. Much like most Shiadas of the period she has the Casale 500 V-drive transmission, 1.15 gears and electric cavitation plates. If a retro Schiada is what you are looking for , you will be hard pressed to find a finer, cleaner boat than this one. Please submit any and ALL offers - your offer may be accepted! One of the reasons she's in such good condition is that she's always been garaged. And, take a look at that upholstery. The Upholstery was brand new in 1992, and it looks like it just came from the showroom floor. One seam has a small separation in the passengers seat. Other than that she's beautiful.
