General Description Built in Taiwan by Lien Hwa and marketed in the US by Marine Trading International, the Tradewinds 43 Motor Yacht achieved a good deal of popularity during her production years thanks to a moderate price and lavish teak interior.
She rides on a solid fiberglass hull with a relatively wide beam and a shallow keel for directional stability. Equipped nicely and in very good condition, she should definitely be on your short list for an inexpensive motor yacht or trawler!
Actual Condition
It is reported this Marine Trader is being donated, due to health issues, and has not been used for the past 2 years. She appears to be in nice overall condition, just needs some regular maintenance.
Aft fuel tank appears to have a leak.
The owner advises that at 24 knots she burns about 40 gal/hour and that new engines were installed in 2010 and have about 450 hours on each.This is a great cruising and/or liveaboard. Don't miss this great opportunity!
