Description
The Pacific Seacraft 34 is a renowned cruiser designed by one of the world's most knowledgeable and respected designers of offshore sailing yachts Bill Crealock. "Cinda" is well equipped with refrigeration auto pilot roller furling solar panels SSB and more.. Some of the characteristics of the "Crealock 34" that makes her especially safe for blue water cruising is the canoe stern that handles heavy seas extremely well along with a skeg hung rudder that creates an aperture that protects the propeller. "Cinda" also has the optional sheel keel which allows her to get into water that's off limits to the deeper draft keel. The interior is very impressive with lots of well kept teak throughout and interior upholstery that was all new in June 2011.

Below the waterline she has a three-layer epoxy treamtemnt and vinylester resin is used for the first laminate followed by isopthalic polyester resins. The hull is reinforced with a substantial internal moulding which is bonded in place and incorportates floors and stringers. Primary bulkheads are bonded to the hull and deck and subsequently through-bolted to deck beams. The deck is balsa-cored sandwich with ply in way of fittings and bonded and bolted to the hull. The keel is cast lead bolted to the hull with stainless steel bolts.Rudder & SkegThe rudder is one of the most critical yet vulnerable parts of a cruising yacht. The Pacific Seacraft 34 rudder has 1/4" thick backbone welded to a 2 3/8" O.D. stainless steel shaft. Yet while the rudder is stressed and constructed to be self-supporting it is further supported by the skeg which is reinforced with a molded-in structural steel channel. Skeg and rudder are connected at the lower end by a massive bronze gudgeon. Another top quality feature of this boat.Brokers CommentsThe Pacific Seacraft 34 is a classic amongst the true cruising community. She's a top quality build with high end features overlooked in many other boats. The hull can use a good buff 'n waxing along with a fresh bottom job.
