Sea Ray's mission, when designing the 220 Sundeck, was to be able to host a lot of guests and gear comfortably without losing the performance, good looks, and trailerability of a sport boat - which they certainly didn't miss the mark with this boat!! It's evident this boat has plenty of room to enjoy those days out on the water where everyone wants to do some type of watersport while having abundant storage throughout the boat to stow all of those wakeboards, tubes, skis, etc. This boat features a walk-thru transom with gate, extensive storage, L-shaped cockpit lounge seating and a well-equipped cockpit entertainment/refreshment center. This boat is built for family fun all weekend long! Upon boarding the boat, the first thing I noticed was the oversized swim platform and stainless ladder. There are additional stainless steel supports and wraparound rubrail to offer additional protection to the boat when there are a lot of guests using the extended swim platform. There are two freshwater showers located at the stern and also on the bow. Moving off the back platforms, there is a walk-thru transom with a hinged door which leads to the spacious cockpit area. Immediate to the left side in the cockpit, there is a HUGE L-shaped cockpit lounge with abundant storage underneath. You can gain access to the engine underneath this lounge. Across from the L-shaped lounge seating, there is a standard entertainment/refreshment center. The sink has a pump and a 6.5-gallon water tank included with the boat. There are two swiveling bucket seats with flip-up bolsters that ensure the captain and companion will have a good vantage point whether sitting or standing. In front of the companion chair is an enclosed head compartment with the standard porta-potti. The great thing about this area is that it can also serve as a private changing area! The helm is fully equipped with all gauges. The fiberglass dash will not warp or buckle under the intense summer heat. In addition to being constructed of fiberglass, the dash is finished using an elegant woodgrain finish which helps reduce glare from the hot, summer sun. The steering wheel has a sure-grip finish with sport tilt for comfort. There is also a stereo remote in the center of the dash where you can easily control all functions of the stereo system.Moving forward to the bow of the boat, this area provides a deep, dry-riding feel with the oversized amount of space in the bow area. There are lounge seats with removable cushions on each side with storage underneath. There is an insulated ice chest/cooler forward in between each lounge chair. There are stainless grab rails for extra safety with an anchor locker just forward of the ice chest/cooler where you'll find a bow boarding ladder and anchor/line. There is a forward cocktail table along with a filler cushion which creates a huge sunlounge area - both optional items included on this boat! For additional comfort that helps to extend the boating season well into fall, there are molded bow doors and a wraparound windshield that will provide more than ample protection from the fall elements. Overall, this is a great boat in excellent condition that will be great for any couple or family out on the water. This is a nice overall boat in good condition! The boat could use some general cleaning and a good waxing/cleaning - as this was planning on being done within the next week or so.
The owner recently took off the shrinkwrap on the boat prior to me getting there to take more photos and didn't have time to thoroughly clean prior to my arrival - which is why there are so many pics of leaves in the boat.
Also, the owner removed all of the bottom paint last fall and the boat is scheduled to get a whole new bottom job in the next month or so. In addition to the bottom job, the owner is also having the outdrive completely repainted as it was also stripped down last Fall prior to winterization.
Overall, the boat is in solid shape. It does not have a great deal of hours on the engine.
It is important to note, the owners purchased the boat WITHOUT a trailer. However, they do own a marina and they have a couple of trailers that will work/fit this boat and it can be considered included with the boat. I just can't provide specific details about the trailer as it depends on what is available when the boat sells.
