CATALINA 30 TALL SAIL (year 1983, serial number 2949) (For sale) SAIL INVENTORY Genoa / Spinnaker / Main, new* / anchor sail by Banner Bay, new (never used). STANDARD 4 cylinder Atomic four gas engine, 21 gallon tank. For a summers consumption of gasoline just day sailing I use a less than a tank full of gasoline. Fiber glass hull. Standard winches on cockpit combing. Two fresh water tanks. Pressure water system.
UPGRADES Harken Mark II jib reefing. Forespar in boom furling system w/new sail*, 5 batten sail larger than original with new reefing winches in cockpit. All furling lines run into the cockpit. 5 furling points Boom vang. Swim platform by Torresen with swim ladder. Dodger / bimini / fully enclosed tent for inclement weather while docked which makes a complete room. Swing up table in cockpit. Helm and gauge cover. Captains padded seat w/ fold down back and cover. All controls are at helm along with gauges. Forward reverse, start, choke, throttle. Autopilot (electric) steering @ helm.
SAFETY Two fire extinguishers / two mounted bilge pumps / one spare bilge pump on board. Two position switches for each mounted bilge pump / depth finder / manual bilge pump operated from cockpit. Manual portable bilge pump stored in stern locker. Three anchors, two at bow. Two plow anchors at bow. One in its own roller. Stern anchor stored in stern locker. Drogue. Two compasses. Marine radio. Five boxes of spare parts.
CABIN CHANGES - Two solar powered fresh air vents. They run all winter for ventilation even during the time when the boat is enclosed with shrink wrap. Center main cabin has a double bed with table removed. Table and all hardware available to return cabin to original.
ENGINE - Yearly maintenance includes oil change, water pump impellor check and lube, fresh water system pump check, etc. Fuel filter for separating water from fuel. Changed yearly.
ACCESSORIES - Dingy with oars, electric trolling motor, bridle for towing, cover. Life jackets. Two jackets are self inflating. Other jackets include adults and childrens. All docking lines, bumpers, anchor chains and lines included. BOAT INSPECTION BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. BOAT LOCATED ON LAKE MACATAWA. Hull inspection available now. Boat will be in water after June 15, 2012.
