We were told hydraulic steering is optional on this boat, though we couldn't imagine equipping it with this horsepower without hydraulics. With hydraulics, hard turns port and starboard proved quite smooth with minimal centrifugal force.
Skeeter offers plenty of options to customize the boat. But the standard SL210 includes comfortable seating and all the fishing amenities the anglers in the family need, including trolling-motor wiring, fishing seats and two livewells.
The SL210 has space on the casting decks thanks to its near eight feet of beam. That also means it's stable and roomy enough to accommodate six active passengers.
We liked the easy access to livewell and bilge pumps and wiring through a large hatch astern. Nonskid inlays on the transom bulkhead provide better footing for swimmers and skiers entering and leaving the water at the boarding ladder.
