This Alberg 30 has been here on the lake for the last 6 years. It is here in our yard, and available for viewing.
The Alberg 30 is one of the All American classics. It was designed by Carl Alberg and built by Whitby Boatworks in Ontario, Canada.   They built the first one in 1965 and by the time they finished the last in 1986 they had built over 700. 
This boat is known for its rugged construction, classic styling, seaworthy design, and admirable sailing qualities.  It has a traditional, moderate-displacement hull with relatively narrow beam, steep entry with cutaway forefoot, wineglass hull sections with easy chine, full garboard, traditional long keel and attached rudder. The topside has long overhangs with a spoon bow, moderate freeboard with a well-rockered sheer and long counter stern.  It has a long foredeck, wide side decks and short aft deck, with a trunk cabin transitioning into a raised doghouse at mid-length and aft cockpit. 
 
The class has an active, enthusiastic, helpful, and friendly owners association.
