A1 Rated.This vessel is an observation class, manned submersible that enables private, commercial, scientific & governmental applications for researchers, scientists, filmmakers, content providers, or enthusiasts. Through this unique submersible, four people plus one pilot can access underwater environments & target sites at depths of nearly 305 meters (1,000 feet).Easily moved by a travel lift or crane. Once launched it is autonomous with no tether or cables. The twin 58-inch hemispherical acrylic domes provide exceptional views for direct observation.First built in 1973 as a diver lock-out sub by Perry Submarine, It was named the PC-1501 & spent several years operating in the North Sea oil fields. Rebuilt in 1995 & renamed XPC15, it was installed & operated around the world aboard the Mystere, a 200-foot yacht. It was further modified in 2001 & renamed Antipodes by Submarine Adventures, which successfully operated the sub in Milford Sound, New Zealand, where it took thousands of tourists on dives to depths of 1,000 feet. It was purchased by it's current seller in 2009, completely rebuilt in 2013 from the hull up. It is currently updated & ready for service.
