Fresh-water cooled and meticulously maintained, all you need to do, or see, is the video of these Crusaders being started. When this rep visited for pictures and to collect info for this written description, it was easy to understand why the seller insisted on starting these Fresh Water Cooled Crusaders (please see video). With Fresh water exchange manifolds as part of the rebuild, these babies purr.
Don't discount her other excellent features, nor her solid structure, but most of the value of this Convertible lies within the engine room.
-The Gelcoat is intact.
-The hull is solid.
-The topsides could use some paint.
-There is no leaking anywhere, including hatches, ports and cabin ceiling.
-The Fly-bridge has no soft spots or sponginess, the ladder to it solidly in place.
