Seller note:

One of the most versatile sailboats ever designed, and you can throw it on a trailer and take it anywhere. This is actually the largest trailerable class boat, and you can comfortably sail it by yourself. You can also unstep and step the mast with 1 person. Comes with a 2009 Tohatsu 6hp outboard engine AND a trailer to move it around with.
The boat is water ballasted and has a retractable daggerboard (MacGregor actually invented the ballast system for this boat -- and it's what makes it so light and able to be moved around so easily, despite its large size). It weighs appx. 1650lbs. when dry and on the trailer and appx. 2750 pounds. on the water. The boat has plenty of lines, as well as multiple blocks and fairleads. It also has an awesome pop-top for more head room -- it really makes a difference.
It sleeps six very comfortably, and has a TON of space underneath the stern. The interior is well maintained, and the cushions are all new -- put in this year. Has a head w/ a new porta-pot. The exterior is in good shape, including the bottom which I have inspected regularly -- no blisters or blemishes.
It's really a top-notch boat all-around, and it especially makes for a GREAT 1st boat (it's very forgiving and easy to learn on). This is not the 26M that MacGregor is currently selling. This 1 is lighter and sleeker - it has a sailboat hull, rather than a powerboat hull. A lot of sailors say this is the best version that MacGregor ever made.
You won't find another 1 in as good of shape and set up as nicely as this 1 -- come see it and you'll definitely be impressed! I really love it, and the only reason I'm selling it is because I graduate school just won't let me have time to take it out anymore. Both the boat and the motor have a clean Texas title, just waiting for your signature.
The book value on this set-up is $8300 just for the boat. The motor costs about $1,500, and the trailer costs another $1,300, meaning that the total value of this deal is over $11,000.
I'm asking for only $7,900 OBO.
