The SeaRay 240 Sundeck represents one of the most versatile layouts of any production model in this size range. The expansive interior volume features two large sitting areas on opposite ends of the boat, allowing for maximum comfort for both owners and guests.
Equipped with the customary marine electronics and an ergonomically designed helm with visibility from the helm being excellent both forward and aft. Providing the classic and timeless appearance that Sea Rays are known for, her clean style line runs from the bow to the trailing end of the swim deck.
Your guest will also enjoy the ladders at both the bow and the transom allowing swimmers and beach goers to board her at all ends. There's also an enclosed head with sink located amidships. A full size locker is located between the driver and the portside lounge and it's held open with high quality assist struts so it won't close accidentally. Forward there's a U-shaped seating area with a removable table and there is a convenient anchor storage locker and forward boarding ladder in the bow. Storage under all the seating and floor spaces will hold all you water toys.
Deck hardware is substantial both in quality and quantity being strategically located for ease of securing the vessel in docking and anchoring. The diamond cut pattern deck non-skid is throughout and offers sure footing and ease of maintenance.
The cockpit area offers an adjustable bucket type helm seat with a wash down sink "Wet Bar" on the starboard side. There is a companion "Co-Pilot" swivel seat on the port side. Aft of the Co-Pilot seat is the lounge shaped passenger seating running down the port side continuing across the transom. The transom door is positioned on the starboard side for access to the fiberglass swim platform with an integrated pull out and down swim boarding ladder and transom shower. Several cockpit storage lockers, convenient catch bins, and drink holders are located throughout.
Another feature that definitely stands out on the 240 Sundeck is her wide beam. Its width of 8 feet, six inches gives her extra stability out in open waters.
Owner regrettably has to pass this gem onto another loving owner. Initial delivery (warranty start date) was on 30 June 2004 and she has less than 290 hours on the Hobbs.
