Hunter 23' Sailboat - Reduced further to or BO!!! (Hyde Park (Boston)

1986 Hunter 23 ready to sail with mainsail and jib! Sleeps 4-5. Has roller furler for the jib, adjustable motor mount, sink, stove and ladder. Exterior in superb shape. Interior needs some woodwork from water damage (seat surfaces - not structural) and most cushions should be recovered. No trailer and no motor. The boat is on a trailer now which I am keeping. Will deliver to land or launch within 1 1/2 hours of Boston for free. More description:The Hunter 23 is a twenty three-foot sloop, which weighs about 2450 pounds empty. Total trailering weight is around 4500 pounds., which allows many S-U-V's to pull it. It has an eight-foot beam and a mast height of about thirty-3 feet. The boat has a fixed wing keel which draws about 2' 3" which makes it easy to launch from a trailer. This model was produced from approx 1985 to 1992. It evolved from the Hunter 22 and was replaced by the 23.5 in the Hunter line up. The boats varied very little by the year produced with the exception that the earliest boats had an un-ballasted swing keel which deployed below the fixed wing keel. This particular boat has the wing keel which is ideal for shallow lakes and coastal area, as well as making for an easy to trailer boat. This boat is preferable to similar boats such as the Catalina and O'day because of the extensive use of teak in the cabin. The joinery in the cabin creates a very inviting atmosphere instead of the starkness of white gelcoat that is present in most of the small production cruisers. Overall it is in fantastic condition for a boat of its age with the exception to damage to some of the wood in the cabin.
